In a unexpected collaboration that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.
The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
