Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
