I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
