'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the maiden significant trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after breaking his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
